       Welcome to the
Damascus Road Radio Broadcast
                      your radio host, Harry Sill

Damascus Road is the radio program of Damascus Road Ministries Inc. For the past fifteen years Damascus Road Ministries has been broadcasting that old and simple story that anyone, anywhere, has the right to reach out  to God, and enjoy a dynamic relationship with Him.

The starting point for the Damascus Road broadcast is, "take another look". Even though you may have been told, and believe, God is dead, never was, or at best, extremely feeble and unable to answer the smallest prayer, that message is simply not true. Of course you have the right to hold on to that popular decision. You also have the right to “take another look” and decide for yourself.

Damascus Road is dedicated to the task of helping those who want to “take another Look”, as we present the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in plain language.

                        What We Believe
  • God loves you
  • The Bible is true
  • Jesus is Lord
  • His sacrifice covers the sin of all who believe

Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than one who is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.   prov. 19:1

Happy is the man who is always reverent, but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.  Prov.28:14

"Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?"

What’s in a name?

The name “Damascus Road” is obviously a reference to the experience Saul of
Tarsus had on his journey to Damascus.  Saul was dead set against this new religious phenomenon that placed Jesus of Nazareth on a pedestal, in competition with Abraham, and the holy faith of Israel.

At that moment Saul did not realize he was fighting against that holy faith of Israel, fighting against the leadership of Abraham, and fighting against the promised Messiah of Israel, Jesus of Nazareth.

On the Damascus Road, God took the initiative and spoke to Saul through a blinding light, asking the simple question, “Saul, why do you persecute me?”  Of course, the rest is history.

Today, God still takes the initiative, on our own Damascus Road, asking the same simple question. “Why are you fighting against me?”

The Damascus Road Broadcast simply asks, will you stop for a moment and listen, will you listen to hear His voice, and will you reconsider your opportunity to have a lasting relationship with God through Jesus the Christ?

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.Rom. 8:28
